Profile:
The Parents for
Parents befriending service has been running for about six
years and offers emotional support to parents of children
with any long term individual need or disability, irrespective
of whether a full diagnosis has been made. The service is
free and confidential and provided by trained volunteer parents
who themselves care for their own child with special needs.
Parents can contact the scheme themselves or ask someone else
to do so on their behalf.
