This scheme was established with initial funding
from the Barnwood Trust who we would like to thank for their
support.
Profile:
With initial funding
from the Barnwood Trust, the Face 2 Face Network is working
in partnership with two local Children Centres to co-ordinate
this scheme in Gloucestershire.
The scheme's first
volunteer training course was completed in November 2007 and
they now have 6 trained befrienders, themselves parents of
disabled children, ready to take referrals and offer their
support.
